Green Bay, WI, February 22, 2016–The first major research project of the Center for Leadership in Government and Public Policy will create public information on the 2016 presidential candidates’ leadership types and integrity characteristics. The Center will also present to the public trends in voter sentiment, media coverage of candidates, and related key information through mobile apps and its website.

“The crisis in leadership today requires an informed citizenry. I believe our data driven research on political leaders and influencers that shape their ideas and public policy will help in better informing the public. Our database is the only one to focus on political leaders themselves,” says Dr. McCormick, President of the Center for Leadership in Government, Politics, and Public Policy.

“We’re bridging the information gap on what political leaders say and do so that the American public has a clearer idea whom they’re voting for and what’s taking place throughout the United States, in Washington, D.C., and in state capitals,” said Dr. McCormick. “We invite the media and citizens to register on the Center for Leadership’s website and to follow us on social media. Mobile apps will be available to monitor sentiments about U.S. Presidential candidates at: https://cflig.org/elections-2016.

Board Members from across the United States, Canada, and India serve as experts and advisors to the Center. University and professional career affiliations of the Board range from professional affiliations with New York University, Carnegie Melon University, Catholic University of Washington D.C., Northern Illinois, University of Toronto, Indian Institute of Technology, and the University of Windsor.

The Center for Leadership in Government, Politics, and Public Policy is the first of its kind organization that builds civic engagement and participation in the democratic process while, advancing effective public and political leadership, through research and best practices.
