Linnea High PH.D.Board Member

Distinguished for receiving the largest National Science Foundation (NSF) grant awarded to non-science/math applicants from WIU for “Connecting the Past with the Future: Women in Mathematics and Science.”

Received and administered $550K NSF grant award; secured $10K in additional funding from McDonnell Douglas Foundation.

Linnea has overseen the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Project mini-grant application and award process offered in partnership from the AAUW, National Science Foundation, and EdLab Group. She evaluated and ranked projects for funding; assigned reviewers, ensured adherence to review policies and material requirements. In addition, Linnea liaised with applicants to provide technical assistance and prepared lists of relevant organizations and listservs. Co-chaired Donations Committee. Served as guest speaker and forum presenter.
